Today October 24, 2025 Hale center Owls and Sudan Hornets Both 6-1 for the season meet in the District Show Down! Jeremias writes on His Facebook Page. This is the biggest game this year so far. The Owls and the Hornets have identical records, both have losses only to Ropes.

Waunetta Sue Campbell, 84, of Cotton Center, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Cotton Center with Rev. Terry Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Center Plains Cemetery in Cotton Center
