Community Response to the Hale Center Band Losses.

The Community have reached out and there have been many donation to help with the Losses suffered during the Thunderstorm.

The Hale Center Lion’s Club voted unanimously to give the Hale Center Band Boosters a $1000.00 to help with repair of the band instruments.  Lion’s of Hale Center’s motto is WE SERVE!

First United Bank presented a $10,000 donation at this week’s HCISD school board meeting to help replace the Mighty Owl Band's instruments damaged during September’s storm. We are thankful for their support of our students and directors of Hale Center ISD.

Also The 64-69 class reunion group will be sending a $1000.00 donation to the Owl Band to help cover the cost of replacing instruments and sound equipment lost during the recent storm. The storm, with heavy rain and lightning hit during a recent football game. Loss: $38,000; school insurance: $50,000 deductible.
